Q. I notice you have a new website. Does my old user name and password work?
A. No, you will need to create a new profile and reenter all of your information. You will only need to do this once, the first time you use the new website

Q. Do I need to upload an image of my player's birth certificate?

A. Only players new to NYBS need to provide an image of their birth certificate when prompted in the registration process. If you have played NYBS before, you may skip this step. 

Q. I would like my child to play up/down a division. What should I do?

A. You will be asked during the registration process if you would like your child to be considered to play up/down a division. Choose your selection from the drop down menu. Please note that you are making a request, players from upper divisions are chosen based on evaluations, and only as needed to fill rosters. Not all requests can be honored. All players will be registered to their age-appropriate divisions, decisions about playing up/down will be made by league officials.

Q. What equipment does my player need?

A. Your player needs their own cleats and fielding glove. A protective "cup" is required for all catchers. Most kids use their own bat, but it is not required. All teams are provided an equipment bag that contains a bat, batting helmets, catcher's equipment and catcher's glove. Please refer to current COVID-19 Guidelines as this may change during the pandemic.
